Our Approach · Quality before hype
Good judgment takes patience.
Hetaobiaomei’s perspective on natural walnut character, long-term handling and independent collector judgment.
01 / FIELD NOTES
Buy the right pair, rather than proving a budget
Price is a boundary for your decision, not evidence of quality. A carefully inspected, affordable pair can teach more than several purchases made under pressure.
02 / FIELD NOTES
Natural character is worth learning to see
Perfectly round, unusually large or tightly matched walnuts can be visually attractive, but those features do not settle their source, maturity or treatment history.
Our preference for wild walnuts is a brand practice, not a claim that all wild walnuts are good or all grafted walnuts are poor. Every pair still needs assessment.
03 / FIELD NOTES
A framework you can use independently
The aim is to understand why a pair is suitable, not to memorise a seller’s conclusion. Ask for the evidence, apply a consistent sequence and leave room for uncertainty.
